. . . . this is Heinrich M. Pfenninger, the Rangemaster, . . . .

so, please Ladies and Gentlemen:
'Shooters to the line' !

Adrians day did not start very good, problems with his 'Freedom Arms' Revolver.
Some impressions from of the 'Field Pistol' Events:
Beni and Vladimir are waiting for a Standing event, . . .
. . . . but not before the shooting glasses are perfect, . . .
. . .and the gun has been loaded!
Beni shoots a scoped T/C Contender in 32-20 Win. This cartrige was original designed for Black Powder.
Adrian shoots an Army Pistol SIG P210 in .30 Luger. He is also very successful with this gun on the 50m target shooting.
Daniel shoots a T/C Encore in .22 Hornet and a rifle scope in the 'Field Pistol any Sight' events.
Daniel also shoots a T/C Contender in .22 Hornet in the
Field Pistol Production event.
René borrowed Daniel's Encore for his 'once in the year' Field Pistol start.

Vladimir Glaser shoots a Picra SP-96 in .22 Hornet with a rifle scope and a kind of high rise scope mount. Hana, his Spotter always behind him.

Vladimir did recently an incredible  40x40 in this event !

The unofficial Swiss Highscore is 37, done by Beni Paolini in 2001!

Beni also shoots a T/C Contender in 32-20 Win in the Field Pistol Production Event,
Here some impressions of the 'Small Bore' Events:
Heini uses a Hämmerli 120 for his 'Small Bore Production' start.
Creedmore is most used from the Swiss Shooters.
Richard shoots a T/C Contender in the 'Small Bore Production' event.
Here the first string on the chickens.
A perfect Creedmore position !
Vladimir's position is a kind of 'close-in' position. He uses a rifle diopter, meaning a peep hole instead of an iron sight. This position is not so common among the Swiss shooters.

This is his Picra SP-96.

'Mr. Wheelgun' Adrian up-graded his competition 'tools' with a Hämmerli 120 !
No wheel, but mostly great scores !

Under the eyes of the expert, Hampi tried the 'close-in' position with the Picra SP-96.
Some impressions of the 'Big Bore ' Events:
Hana and Vladimir

Vladimir uses an identical gun configuration and a similar 'close-in' position for 'Big Bore'.

The distance between the gun and the head has to be adjusted accordingly.

To tame his Picra SP-96 in the caliber 260 Picra he needs to hold it a little bit different than in 'Small Bore', see above !

But the gun kicks quite powerful.
Michaela and Ivan are a good team.

Here is Ivan coaching Michaela in the revolver event.

Both shoot the Picra revolver SR-97 in the caliber 308 Picra.
This is quite a 'handfull' of gun, but Michaela scored a good 36 and placed hereself in front of all Swiss.

Ivan's getting prepared for his Big Bore Unlimited start.  He shoots a Sardec Unlimited in the caliber 7x49 GJW.
Here, Michaela is spotting Ivan's Big Bore event.
Like most Czech's, he prefers the 'Dead Frog' position.

The same gun is used by Michaela, but since she is left handed, they have to switch stocks.

By the way, Michaela shot a perfect  40x40!
Super performance for her first 'Studen up-hill' match !

'Keeping track of everything' is the spotters job!

Ivan with his Picra SP-96 in the caliber 260 Picra.

He scored 37, missed 3 Turkey's !

Vladimir also prefers the 'Dead Frog' Position.

Beni with one of his favorite gun, the Jalonen in 7mmBR.
The paint brush on this gun was a real eyecatcher on the exhibition 'Fischen-Jagen-Schiessen' in Bern.

Paint brush job was done by

Tammy's Airbrush Studio

This is Beni's 'Shoot-Off' !

4 out of 5 shots hit the chicken on the 200m line.

But on the other hand, Beni became a 'honored' member of the 'Chicken Club' !

Here the original Scorecard.

Dani always takes the opportunities to shoot some Small- and Big Bore rifle.
Here some impressions of the 'Barbeque' Events:
Adrian is tasting the Czech presents!

According his smile, he seems to like it; Right Adrian ?

Gabi, always helping us in the 'backoffice' !
No comments on the following few pictures:
Eventhough Hana does not so much shooting, she is a real 'Silhouette' freak!

Ruth Paolini knows the Studen weather very well. This umbrella is usefull almost every time we are in Studen, because it's good for the sun and good for the rain.
Not to forget, all the volunteers who always help to put up the range !
Ruth Paolini Jr.
Ruth and Albert Paolini . . .
. . . . and the Shooters themselfs !
Here the lucky guys:
Beni Paolini's gets a 'Bronce Ram' for his 26 in Field Pistol any Sight'.
Hans-Peter Kobelt gets his 'Gold Ram'.
Vladimir Glaser took the 'Grappa' for the best Production result in Field Pistol.
Michaela won a 'Silver Ram' for
her 40x40 in Big Bore, . . . . .
. . . .and the cookies box for the best Guest result also in Big Bore.
